Aligned in MaximDL. In Photoshop CS2: R, G & B balanced then merged. After merge, performed balance touchup of each channel until stars showed no color. Contrast increased, brightness slightly decreased. Slight curves adjustment to brighten outer fringe, then soften core.
L: Increased contrast and slightly decreased brightness. Curves adjustment to increase outer fringe and soften core. Levels increase, then another curves adjustment. Then another slight brightness decrease to darken background. L mode change to RGB. RGB image copied and pasted to converted L image then selected color on layers dropdown. |
